PROFILE

Prior to joining DMGZ in 2008, Ms. Shanklin worked as a law clerk for the firm during the summers of 2006 and 2007.  She was also a Staff Assistant to United States Senator Wyden of Oregon in Washington, D.C. prior to entering law school.

While in law school, Ms. Shanklin participated in the University of Oregon Small Business Clinic where she represented small business companies and entrepreneurs who required legal assistance forming and running their small businesses.  Ms. Shanklin completed advanced courses in the practice area of business, earning a Certificate of Completion in Business Law from the University of Oregon.

PRACTICE EXPERIENCE

Ms. Shanklin’s practice areas include transactional work, litigation, general commercial and business matters, bankruptcy and employment law.
