    PROFILE

Mr. Moore's practice currently focuses on commercial litigation, creditor bankruptcy, banking operations, Alaska Native law, resource development and the gamut of general civil litigation.

    PRACTICE DESCRIPTION

Mr. Moore's 20-plus years of legal experience includes three years as in-house bankruptcy counsel and property tax coordinator for the FDIC in Anchorage, Alaska. At FDIC, he gained valuable experience in debtor workouts, bankruptcy, foreclosure and practical enforcement of creditor claims, litigation management and the recovery of property through unwinding fraudulent transfers and schemes. One of his several FDIC fraud cases resulted in the largest bankruptcy fraud recovery and conviction sentence to date in the District of Alaska.  Bankruptcy has remained an area of practice and Mr. Moore represents Alaskan creditors in bankruptcy cases throughout the western states.

Mr. Moore also represents Alaska Native corporations and their subsidiaries, private resource companies, local businesses and private individuals in a variety of interesting matters regarding government contracting, public land and natural resource law. These matters have included claim jumping disputes, right-of-way negotiations, public land trust litigation, resource development negotiation, Native allotments and conveyances to and from the state and federal governments. In addition, Mr. Moore has represented parties in resolving disputes through litigation and mediation involving insurance law, real estate, mortgage disputes and construction law.
